Behind the Scenes of the Trade Street Fashion Show, Photographer inside look

The positive energy was practically tangible. As exciting as fashion is, and this was a fashion-forward crowd, it wasn't just about the clothes and shoes.

Greer has a lot to offer, but at its heart, is a small town. If you were here on Thursday for the Fashion Show on Trade Street, its probably because you’ve become friends with one of the presenting store’s owners, you knew someone walking the runway, or you love Greer and know you’re sure to see friends and neighbors at any Trade Street event (plus the bonus of making new friends and seeing new fashion. Since I started shopping boutique, I’ve made a lot of friends AND get compliments on my style on the regular. Here for it!)

On this occasion, I also got to check out and photograph some sweet luxury vehicles from the evening’s sponsor, LUX Motorsport - woah.

And! I experienced a cool leveled-up photo booth from Two Mom Crew Events- check out my take on the Handful & Hustle Instagram profile. I enjoyed meeting the owners and snapped a portrait of Aliya posing with a gorgeous ride!

I have to say though, my favorite part of the evening was seeing a couple of my H&H clients crush that runway! No surprise that Chelsea’s own, Brady Redmon, killed it in a couple outfits. The one who snuck in and stole the show was the pint-sized princess, Claire, who was fearless and charming, and apparently, loved every minute!

Overall, I loved the friendliness and accessibility of the Trade Street Fashion show. It was a great way to see new clothing arrivals in the downtown, but also to strengthen relationships between local businesses and their clients. And that’s the thing- you’ll come for what we offer, but discover what a warm, relational experience it is to be served in Greer. I hope you come down and say hey, even once the strobe lights are off and the ambiance from the fog machine has cleared.
